Telford Town Park Education Services

Based at the Town Park the team offer a varied education programme covering primary, secondary, higher and further education curriculums.

Our programme is delivered at Telford Town Park utilising our on-site classroom and the outdoor environment. Bronze, Silver and Gold  packages are available and include both facilitated and self-led activities.

• Activities are based in Telford Town Park a Greenflag Park, with 170 hectares of open space in which to learn including formal play, public gardens, adventure golf, aerial ropes course, trails, picnic areas, local nature reserve, lakes and visitor centre
• An indoor classroom, on-site toilets and snack bar
• Organised activities can be supplemented by visits to the play areas including water play in the summer, guided nature and heritage trails and adventure golf course
• Varied and unique site of heritage significance ranging from medieval to  industrial archaeology with Local Nature Reserve Wildlife status
• Opportunities to utilise cycle hire as well as team building on the aerial ropes course
• A full day out for schools that will be both educational and fun
• A variety of activities available on the doorstep
• A range of both charged and free activities
• New in 2016/17 - will be working in partnership with the Field Studies Council to offer A Level geography fieldwork opportunities
